Birdhouses
- After rebuilding my gate, I was left with a fair amount of fence boards in decent condition. As simple of a project that a birdhouse is, I have never built one. I thought it would be fun to reuse some of the better wood to make some bird houses, to paint and decorate to hang in the yard.

Planter Ring
- Since I had the miter saw set up, and as I am in the process of rebuilding the older uncovered portion of my deck, I used the opportunity to reuse some of the better deck boards to make some planter rings for my fruit trees.
- After setting up a stop block, I set my miter to 36º and chopped them all out

Assembly line
- Started by laying out all of the pieces, drilling and stapling everything together

Paint
- The planter rings received a fresh coat of the leftover terracotta deck paint, and all of the bird houses received a fresh base coat of white.

- We bought tester sized primary colors; Red, Yellow and Blue, to mix and create the range seen here

General Attractiveness
- I started by laying out the rings, then filling the bases with older much, topping them off with new mulch

- Before the rings, I use to fish out the floating coconuts from the pond to create a border for the plants when they were small, since I pulled them all out, I had an abundance to reuse for my other plant area
